The Leaders in
Remote Patient Care

We have partnered with Spire Health to provide our patients the latest technology in remote patient monitoring.

Spire provides you with a small wearable device, which monitors your breathing. Spire reviews the data, and alerts us when it appears you are having trouble breathing. We strive to offer urgent appointments to patients whose breathing is worse, and ultimately hope to keep you out of the hospital. For more details, please continue reading below.

What comes with the Remote Patient Monitoring Program?

When you enroll in our Remote Patient Monitoring program, you will receive a pack of Health Tag sensors as well as a Home Hub (picture 2 below). Each sensor attaches to one article of clothing you wear most frequently and collects your breathing, pulse rate, and activity information. The Home Hub is plugged into the wall in a room you use often and automatically transfers your health data to your care team. We’ve chosen this remote monitoring solution because it does not require any daily interaction from you. All you have to do is wear your clothing with the Health Tag attached as normal.

Patients are provided with a pack of Health Tag sensors and a Home Hub.

Patients attach Health Tags to clothing and plug in Home Hub. No Wifi needed.

Many patients on the service say they have peace of mind and reduced anxiety knowing clinical professionals are monitoring their health. They appreciate that Spire is checking in on them frequently and take comfort in knowing that if there is any cause for concern, they will be contacted to determine next steps.
